TASTER SESSION
Duration = 2 – 4 hours
A session designed to get you up and running as quickly as possible
so you can get a taste of what this new sport’s all about.
BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE COURSES
Duration = 1 – 5 days (2 - 4 hours per day)
Courses follow the IKO syllabus and train you to become a safe and independent
Snowkiter. Courses cover all areas of the sport from kite flying and
riding techniques, equipment, weather, site assessments and jumping
techniques.
ADVANCED CLINICS
For existing Snowkiters, we offer advanced training/clinics. Top instructors
including ex-British Big Air champion Lee Trevarthen are on hand to
help you nail that elusive trick.
SNOWKITING GUIDED TOURS
Aimed at students who have completed basic training or existing Snowkiters
that wish to come along for a day’s Snowkiting.
Uses the same training grounds as for our regular courses. Also the
option to use more technical areas depending on student ability. Details
available upon request. Tours are subject to student numbers and weather
conditions.
SNOWKITING HELI OPTION
Suitable for competent Snowkiters only. We’ll check your level
before signing you up for the tour. Prepare for an amazing experience!
Local Heli guide and Snowkiter Nick Grant leads the tour into some
of NZs most amazing scenery. Glacier and Back country options available.

IKO INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COURSE
One off course being run 16th – 20th August. The course is aimed
at existing Snowkiters wishing to train to become IKO instructors. Course
